What this site collects

This website collects information in exactly two places: the contact form and the newsletter signup. There is no third-party advertising network on this site, no cross-site tracking, and no behavioral profiling.

  • Contact form: your name, email address, and the optional company, phone, topic, and message you provide.
  • Newsletter signup: your email address.
  • Both: the page the submission came from, the browser user agent string, and a one-way hash of your IP address used for abuse prevention. The raw IP address is not stored.

Why we collect it

Contact submissions are used to reply to your enquiry and to keep a record of the conversation if it becomes an engagement. Newsletter addresses are used to send occasional writing, and nothing else.

We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties for their own marketing. Submissions are not enriched against data brokers or pushed into an automated sales sequence.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in a managed Postgres database. The site itself is hosted on a commercial cloud platform. Both providers process data on our behalf under their standard terms, and both may keep operational logs of requests to this site as part of running the service.

How long it is kept

Contact submissions are retained for up to twenty four months from the last correspondence, then deleted. Newsletter addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Records that form part of a client engagement are retained under the terms of that engagement rather than this notice.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not display a consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. If that changes, this section will change with it before the tracking does.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Deletion requests are honored within thirty days unless we are required to retain something for legal or accounting reasons, and we will tell you if that applies.
